Please note that having an active social media or web presence is not required to join the Society. However, it can be a great way to connect with fellow members and share your art with a wider audience.

Declaration

I give permission for photographs of my artworks to be used on the Tauranga Society of Artists’ website and social media platforms.

I also authorise the use of images of my artworks in printed materials such as articles or advertising, if required.

I understand that I will retain full copyright of my artworks; however, no payment will be made for the use of these images.

I agree to abide by the Constitution of the Tauranga Society of Artists Inc.

I consent to the Tauranga Society of Artists collecting, storing, and using the personal contact details provided in this membership application for the purposes of communication with members. These details will only be disclosed when the Committee determines that doing so is in the best interests of both the Society and the individual concerned. This consent is provided in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

Please indicate the Society member who nominated you. If you don’t know a member to nominate you, please tell us in a few words, your reasons for choosing to join the Society.

Contribution: Your contribution is valued as we are all volunteers. There are no paid staff running the Society and doing the behind the scenes jobs. There is an expectation that all our members will assist the Society in some small way relevant to their skills and life experience. Being involved in the day to day activities and events of the Society is also a great way to meet others, make new friends and grow your own knowledge.
