This year's spring competition saw 134 artworks entered by 45 artists, across 10 categories—an impressive showcase of creativity and talent! More than 60 members gathered in the art room to hear guest speaker Lynette Fisher share her inspiring journey as an artist and insights into the prestigious Molly Morpeth Art Competition.
Following the judging by Ellie Smith, anticipation built as members waited for the awards presentation. Ellie presented the awards and offered thoughtful commentary on the artworks she had judged.
A huge thank you to the new competitions team for organising such a smooth and successful event. Congratulations to all the award winners—and a special shoutout to everyone who entered. The standard of work was exceptionally high, and it was fantastic to see so many new members participating and making their mark.
